A great rental starts with the delivery. Here are some tips for a smooth start!
🏠 You can find your Renter’s address in the Lending section of your account, under ‘Manage My Rental’, but it’s always a good idea to double-check with them that this is right, as sometimes plans can change last minute!
🗓 Make sure you send the item to arrive on the rental start date. We suggest posting your item at least 24-48 hours in advance. We suggest Royal Mail Special Delivery service for fully tracked, insured and first-class service.
ℹ️ Please do not send the rental early unless agreed with your Renter. They need to confirm they are home to receive it. If the rental arrives late, your Renter will be entitled to a full or partial refund.

📸 Don’t forget to take photos of your item before you send it out.
- Take clear and detailed photos of the item using your phone.
- Ensure these photos capture any existing imperfections or details that might be important for the renter to note. If a rental arrives in poor condition, the Renter will be entitled to a full or partial refund. The cost of returning the item will become yours.
- These photos should be taken within 24 hours before dispatching the item to the renter.
- The date stamp on your phone's photos will serve as proof of the condition at the time of dispatch.
- Replicating this process on return is essential if you post any issues.
💬 Communicate with your Renter! It is always nice to receive a friendly confirmation from a Lender though.
⭐️ Your wardrobe is your marketplace, so feel free to have some fun with it! Include a handwritten note and help them with any queries! Building good relationships with your renters is the way to build a trusted following - and leads to good reviews.
🗓 If the rental end date is a Sunday, communicate with your renter about the expected return date, given that most delivery services do not operate on this day.
