Damage Protection offered by HURR is designed to provide renters with peace of mind against certain types of damage that may occur during the rental period.

Here are the key details:

Coverage:

  • Repairable Damage: Covers costs associated with repairable damage such as broken zips, clasps, closures, missing beads, and minor stain removal.
  • Maximum Repair Cost: Covers repair costs up to a maximum of £75 per rental.

If you have taken Damage Protection and found one of the below situations have impacted your rental, simply ask your Lender to supply receipts up to £75 to our team and we'll handle the rest.

What's Not Covered:

  • Damage Beyond Repair: Damage that renders the item irreparable is not covered.
  • Loss: Loss of the item due to carelessness, theft, or other reasons is not covered.
  • Excessive Damage: Damage that exceeds the £75 repair fee is not covered.

Responsibility for Excessive Damage:

  • If the damage to the item is irreparable or exceeds the £75 repair limit, the renter may be liable to cover the total estimated market value of the item, as determined by the HURR team.
  • Communicate with your Lender! If you are stuck after 72 hours, reach out to the Care Team and we'll be on hand to support.
