Every member who rents items above a certain price on HURR has to complete our ID verification process for your peace of mind. We work with Stripe, a company with leading verification technology, to verify your identity:
- The process should take no longer than 2 minutes to complete
- We will ask for your driver’s licence or passport
- If Stripe is unable to verify you, we may ask for additional information via email such as a utility bill or proof of UK address
- If you have a non-UK ID, we will ask for a proof of UK address/residency via email
ℹ️ Please note: Your ID documentation is not stored by us. All documentation is held by a secure third party and will not be shared with other lenders or renters. All data is transmitted and stored using encryption technology.
