We’re excited to offer Collect in Person for peer-to-peer (P2P) rentals. Here’s everything you need to know.

⚠️ Please note: This applies to P2P rentals only. Managed rentals fulfilled by HURR and resale items are not included.


📝 Key Things to Remember

  • You and your lender arrange the pick-up time and place via in-app messaging.
  • Keep all communication in the HURR app.
  • Do not share personal phone numbers or home addresses.

🧭 How does it work?

  • Select Collect in Person at checkout.
  • Message your lender in the app to agree a safe, public meeting spot and time.
  • Meet, check the item, and confirm collection in the app.

🛡️ Safety and responsibility

Collect in Person is organised directly between you and the lender. By choosing this option, you are responsible for your personal safety and for ensuring the item is collected and returned correctly. Once the item is exchanged, standard HURR rental policies apply.


💸 Do I still pay shipping?

No. There are no postage costs with Collect in Person.


🔁 Can I return in person too?

Yes. Agree the return details with your lender before the rental end date and confirm handover in the app.


❓ What if something goes wrong?

Message your lender in the app as soon as possible. If you still need help, contact Customer Care. Late fees and standard policies may apply if the item is not returned on time.


🧾 Which items are eligible?

Collect in Person is available on peer-to-peer listings only. It is not available on Managed rentals or resale.


🚚 Can I still use Same Day or Next Day delivery?

Yes. Collect in Person is an additional option if you prefer to pick up the outfit yourself.
